This kit includes everything needed for hood channel mounting, one of the most popular ways to install a CB antenna. Featuring a quality Wilson Silver Load CB antenna, you'll receive strong transmit and receive performance. The mount will work with all hood channels up to 2" deep and swivels to ensure a vertical antenna. Package also includes 18' of quality RG8X CB coax cable.

The longer your antenna, the better your CB system will perform. So we recommend using the longest antenna you possibly can! That being said, 4' antennas are the most popular choice of pickup truck and off-road vehicle owners, while 5' antennas are more often found on larger trucks and semis.
Here are the approximate ranges you'll get with different length antennas.
- 3' Length: 3 to 4 miles
- 4' Length: 4 to 6 miles
- 5' Length: 5 to 7 miles
